'She's Worked Her Butt Off': Miranda Lambert Gushes Over Beyonce's Work Ethic
Jun 4th 2014, 07:52

Miranda Lambert may be one of the biggest stars in country but she's still in awe of another popular singer, admitting that she adores 'Drunk In Love' diva Beyonce for "working her butt off" to become the world's biggest pop star.

The 'Automatic' singer is on cloud nine this week after releasing her brand new album 'Platinum', which has received stellar reviews so far, but Miranda has taken the time out to heap praise on another female musician whom she has nothing but respect for.

Cooing over Beyonce and her incredibly successful career, Miranda told Rolling Stone: "She's a girl from Houston, and she worked her butt off to get where she is.

"She's not just being carted around on her chariot; she's driving it."

Beyonce isn't the only singer whom Miranda, 30, has been admiring as she recently admitted that she was worried about her collaboration with fellow country songstress Carrie Underwood on 'Somethin' Bad,' which features on 'Platinum.'

Revealing how their duet came about, Miranda told Us Weekly: "I sent her a rambling email asking her to do it.

"I figured she'd think I was crazy, but she wrote right back saying she was in. I was so nervous the day she came to the studio. We ended up having a blast."
