She has always been a fan of wearing white whether it be jeans or dresses.

But Elizabeth Hurley can also pull off cream to perfection as she proved when she headed to a party on Saturday evening.

The 49-year-old turned heads wearing a thigh-skimming cream dress which she wore with a matching jacket to create a chic look.

Her fitted frock, which featured a wrap skirt detail, showed off her tanned legs perfectly as did her nude peep-toe heels.

As always the mother-of-one's hair was immaculately styled in loose waves that tumbled down her shoulders and her make-up accentuated her natural beauty.

The actress was not accompanied by new man, tycoon David Yarrow, who she has been on numerous dates with as of late.

She was however accompanied by a whole host of other famous faces for her night out - including Anna Friel, Nigella Lawson, Jasmine Guinness and Natalie Imbruglia.

And not surprisingly Liz looked in great spirits as she headed off into the evening, perhaps due to the fact she's enjoying success in her professional life as well in her personal life.

This week the star enjoyed her first day on set of her new E! show The Royals, which marks the channel's first scripted show.

Taking to Twitter to share her work with her fans she uploaded an image of herself in costume, which she captioned: 'Hurry up and wait....in my trailer, first day #theRoyals for E! TV.'

She later added: 'Wrapped! Long first day.... and now a costume fitting #notcomplaining #lovemyjob.'

Last month a 20 second trailer from the show was released, starring Liz as Queen Helena in the drama series, revolving around a fictional British Royal Family and set in modern London.

The cast also includes Vincent Regan as King Simon, while Tom Austen, Ukweli Roach, Jake Maskall and Oliver Milburn make up the rest of the ensemble cast.

Everyone is due to be before the cameras when production rolls next month with a slated premiere in early 2015.
