The first photo of Henry Cavill in character for Man of Steel follow-up Batman V Superman has been unveiled today.
While the first shot of Henry's co-star, Ben Affleck as Batman, was released via director Zack Snyder's Twitter in May, the photo of Cavill has come via an unusual source.
The Royal Marines Charitable Trust, of which Cavill is a keen supporter, has shared the image on their Twitter page. It doesn't show Henry in his Superman suit, instead he'd dressed as Clark Kent on the Detroit set, holding up a t-shirt in support of the trust.

"A treat for a Monday morning for all our #HenryCavill fans. Henry is a great supporter of the @RM1664Challenge!" the charity tweeted alongside the image.
Batman V Superman is Snyder's hugely anticipated sequel to smash hit Man Of Steel. This time Ben Affleck makes his debut as Batman while Jesse Eisenberg takes on the role of Lex Luthor and Gal Gadot plays Wonder Woman.
Man of Steel stars Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne are back, while Jason Momoa, Holly Hunter, Jeremy Irons, Tao Okamoto and Callan Mulvey will also star in the movie set for release in the UK on April 29, 2016.
