Indio was arrested following a traffic stop.
Robert Downey Jr.'s son was arrested for cocaine possession following a traffic stop on Sunday.
20-year-old Indio Downey was arrested on felony narcotics charges around 2 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Santa Monica and La Cienega boulevards in West Hollywood, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department have confirmed.
Downey was a passenger in a vehicle when it was pulled over but further details surrounding the arrest have not been released. According to CBS, Downey posted $10,250 bail and was released just after midnight.

Indio is the son of Robert and his ex-wife Deborah Falconer, and starred alongside his father in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
Robert has famously battled with drugs in the past and served prison time in 1997, and again in 1999, when he was sentenced to three years in a substance abuse facility after failing to show up for a court-ordered drugs test. He served 12 months before he was freed.
A rep for Downey Jr has told EntertainmentWise: "Unfortunately there's a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it. Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we're all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he's capable of being. We're grateful to the Sheriff's department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale."
