Nicki Minaj Mocks Iggy Azalea at BET Awards?
Jun 30th 2014, 13:32, by Tyler Johnson

Iggy Azalea is pretty much everywhere these days, so naturally she performed at the 2014 BET Awards in Los Angeles last night.

The celebrity crowd seemed to dig the Aussie rapper, but at least one star on hand apparently thought Iggy's stage show was something of a joke:

In the clip above, the camera cuts to Nicki Minaj during Iggy's performance. Nicki pouts her lips and dances in a cartoonishly "seductive" fashion that many have interpreted as a mockery of Azalea.

The Iggy and Nicki Minaj feud dates back to around the time Iggy began to hit it big earlier this year. Nicki fans blasted Iggy on Twitter, prompting the "Fancy" songstress to fire back.

In addition to mocking Iggy's dance moves, Nicki took what many consider to be a shot at Iggy in her acceptance speech after winning Best Female Hip-Hop Artist:

Nicki Minaj: BET Awards Acceptance Speech

"When Nicki Minaj spits, Nicki Minaj wrote it," Nicki said during her strange, rambling speech. She then added sarcastically, "No shade."

The implication seems to be that one of the other artists in the category doesn't write her own music, and given their history of directing subtle disses at one another, it seems obvious that Nicki is targeting Iggy.

Azalea broke sales records recently when two of her songs held down the number one and number two spots on the Billboard charts at the same time.

The feat prompted Forbes magazine to declare Iggy the new face of hip hop - a title with which Minaj openly disagreed.
