Baldwin's social media followers have objected to everything from the manner in which she and Haze announced their relationship to the language they use to describe their sexual activity. Over the weekend, Ireland took to Twitter to set the record straight and tell the haters where to go: "Making this about race or the fact that we're both women is rather outdated," Baldwin tweeted after watching Haze perform at the Glastonbury Festival in England. Ireland followed that up with several more tweets about her relationship with Haze: "Our private life should be respected as well. a lot of claims have been recently posted that we're [sic] never said. reporters like to take our words...alter them to their benefit and run...we're happy. we're healthy. that's all that matters." Ireland didn't go into specifics about being misquoted, but it's believed that she's referring to Haze's recent interview with The Independent, in which the rapper first revealed that she and Baldwin are officially dating. No stranger to controversy, Ireland has defended her father, Alec Baldwin, against allegations that the famed actor is racist and homophobic. Hello, Ireland Baldwin cleavage!
