A senior programming executive for FOX compared Kris to a deer in the headlights...
Kris Jenner's talk show, Kris, didn't exactly take the world by storm when it premiered last year for a six-week trial run, causing FOX to cancel it indefinitely. The cancellation was a major blow to Kris, and nearly a year later, a top FOX exec had some not-so-kind words to say about Kris and her hosting skills.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Frank Cicha, the senior VP and president of programming for the Fox Television Stations, said that he knew after watching the first episodes of Kris' talk show that it would soon be cancelled, partly due to Kris' lack of charisma onscreen.

"I think she was pretty uninteresting [on camera]," he said. "That was one where [sister company] 20th Television tried to capitalize on a name. …When the camera was on she looked not just like a deer in the headlights, but like a deer that already got hit."
Frank did have a few kind things to say about Kris, however. He noted that she did not act like a diva while on set, and put a lot of hard work into promoting the show. However, due to the high cost of producing the show and the viewer backlash, Frank said that the show couldn't move forward, despite decent ratings.
"It wasn't a disaster in the ratings," he said."When you added it up, it wasn't a show that made sense for us."
