She thinks it would make her a hypocrite...
Lily Allen has no problem going against the grain. While most parents would probably tell their kids "Don't do drugs," Lily Allen has no intention of doing the same. The singer has just admitted that she would never tell her kids to not do drugs.
Speaking to Desert Island Discs, she explained that it would make her a hypocrite since she has been publicly documented taking drugs.
"Because my drug taking has been so well documented I can't really do anything," she stated. "Quite rightly they'd say, 'You're a hypocrite. You went and experimented and said it was a right laugh.'"

This doesn't mean that Lily Allen wouldn't speak to them about the subject at all. She still intends to at least warn them of the possible downfalls.
"I'll advise them of the downfalls and the risks but I don't really like judging or implementing rules on people. I'm not that kind of person," she explained.
Despite Lily Allen's public admission of drug use, she claims to be nothing like that person she used to be. She credits that to her husband who helped her to put a stop to it.
"I've nipped it in the bud," she said proudly. "That's one of the many amazing things about my husband - he came along at the right moment."
