Justin Bieber Visits Japanese Orphanage Following Shrine Visit Controversy
Apr 23rd 2014, 15:40

Justin Bieber has been trying to forget the drama surrounding his latest sightseeing trip in Japan by posting an adorable video of his visit to a Japanese orphanage today.

Biebs is currently in the country on a promotional trip but things haven't got off to the best start with fans hitting out at the singer's visit to a Tokyo shrine.

Bieber posted a message to his Twitter and Instagram accounts yesterday which sees the star stopping at the Yasukuni Shrine, which honours military dead, including leaders from the imperial army who committed mass atrocities across Asia during World War II.

One angry Chinese fan tweeted in response: "You hurt your Chinese fans Bieber !!!!! Please delete this picture…… There are something about the politics between china and Japan. I still believe you are a good boy Bieber. So If you don't wanna lose your Chinese fans. Please!!!!!!!".

Bieber has since deleted the photo and penned a grovelling apology for his Beliebers: "While in Japan I asked my driver to pull over for which I saw a beautiful shrine," wrote the star on Instagram. "I was mislead to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer. To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry. I love you China and I love you Japan."

It looks like Justin's day has got better as this afternoon he uploaded an Instagram video of his trip to an orphanage.
