Fans are getting impatient...
The release of Fifty Shades Of Grey the movie is just over nine months away but still there's no sign of a first trailer. With lead star Jamie Dornan's 32nd birthday falling tomorrow, could fans be getting a present in the form of a teaser?
Jamie stars opposite Dakota Johnson in the film which is based on British author EL James' 100 million copy selling book. While the cast, which also includes Rita Ora, wrapped filming in Vancouver in February so far director Sam Taylor Johnson has kept any footage under wraps.
CinemaCon in Las Vegas at the end of March saw Universal Pictures surprising audiences with a brief look at the film, but only for a select group of press.

Cut like a trailer rather than full scenes, the presentation at CinemaCon was surprisingly short of sex, with romance instead taking centre stage, leading many to question just how raunchy the movie will be.
So when can we, the public, expect to see our first trailer? So far all fans have seen is a couple of posters of Christian and Ana which were released back in Janaury and February, along with a ton of unofficial trailers made by devotees to the novels.
Jamie's 32nd birthday is tomorrow so fans may get a surprise present. One thing's for sure, fans are getting restless with one tweeting this week: "I need a fifty shades movie trailer or something im getting inpatient!!" (sic).

@JamieDakotaFanC has even taken the step of pleading with producers Dana Brunetti, Michael De Luca and EL James directly: "OH PLEASE! @DanaBrunetti @E_L_James @MichaelDe_Luca PLEASE @FiftyShades Trailer!?! can't wait #FSOGtrailer i'm excited!!!!!"
Something to note is recent guidelines announced by The National Association of Theater Owners is the US, which has asked studios to not show a trailer for a movie more than five months ahead of its release.
The guidelines (not rules) don't come into effect until October but if Fifty Shades' distributor does adhere to them it means the movie wouldn't be able to release a teaser until the autumn.
We've got our fingers crossed that Jamie's birthday tomorrow will bring us all an early pressie.
