Katy Perry was reported to have been caught kissing former fling Robery Ackroyd, guitarist in Florence and The Machine, but according to sources close to the Roar star, it didn't happen.
The Unconditional singer and British rocker were first spotted together at the Coachella Festival in 2012. They dated for a few weeks, but things fizzled out and Katy started dating John Mayer. But now she's single, it was reported Rob had been seen kissing the star backstage at the 02 after one of her recent Prismatic gigs.

According to the MailOnline, they were "inseparable, kissing, flirting, cuddling away," during the night.
But a "close pal," has told GossipCop, nothing of the sort went down and the two are very much in the friend zone.
"There's nothing going on between them… no kissing," they said. "They're just friends."
Another blast from the past this week for Katy has been John Mayer giving the thumbs up for her to write about their 18 month on/off romance.
"I have super strength for gang-ups, I'm fine," he told TMZ, about being the subject of Katy's future songs. "That's what you're supposed to do, man, you're supposed to write songs. You're just not supposed to tell everybody you're doing it."
