Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard may have only shared their first kiss on their wedding day but judging by photos from their nuptials, the newlyweds are already getting the hang of smooching.
The couple tied the knot on Saturday June 21 at the Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas and it was a special day in more ways than one, as the star of 19 Kids and Counting and her fiance shared their very first kiss during the ceremony.

The ceremony marked the first time the couple shared a kiss, as both adhere to strict religious views. They didn't even hold hands until their engagement on March 29, that came after just a few months of dating.
After being introduced on Skype by the bride's father, Jill and Derick courted for around five months before becoming husband and wife.

Of their decision to save the physical side of their relationship for marriage, Jill explained to People: "I think it is safer and makes it more special to wait to kiss until your wedding day. To save the physical side of your marriage for your wedding day and not going further than you should – we want to have no regrets."
They couple didn't waste any time once they got started though, with photos showing them kissing for the pro photographer before Derick leaned in for a big smooch as they climbed into their wedding car.

The wedding took place in Jill's hometown of Springdale with much of her huge family taking part in the ceremony. Five of the TV star's sisters were her bridesmaids, five brothers were ushers, a brother and a nephew were ring-bearers, and her sisters and a niece were flower girls.
