She was worried the answer would make things worse...
Tori Spelling's tumultuous relationship with Dean McDermott aired on television for the whole world to see, however, some questions still remained unanswered.
Now Tori has opened up about why she refused to ask Dean about the number of women he has truly been with. The True Tori star, answered the question in an interview with Brooke Anderson for the reunion special.
"I was afraid," Tori admits in a sneak peek of the special. "I'm still afraid because I feel like there's no good answer."

Some might wonder why Tori wouldn't want to know the truth despite her fear. She claims the reason is because she felt like knowing the answer would only make things worse at that point.
"If he says that there weren't any other women, I don't know if right now I can believe him and trust that that's true," she explained. "If he says there's others, I feel like that makes my decision for me. I have to leave, and my heart wants to try to work this out."
Tori then went on to explain the importance of protecting herself. She believes not asking despite knowing everyone was wondering protected herself.
"I feel like I've come so far, but that was my one way of protecting myself was to not ask the obvious question. I mean everyone else is thinking it, and I'm thinking it too," she added.
