A Wimbledon Wedding? Andy Murray And Kim Sears Romance Fuels Engagement Rumours
Jun 27th 2014, 09:47

Not to detract away from his amazingness on the court, but could Tennis champ Andy Murray and his long term girlfriend Kim Sears be close to getting engaged?

Well, we reckon that's what the people who have placed the bets on Andy getting down on one knee, are hoping, according to William Hill.

It is thought that alarm bells began to ring when there was an increase of bets being put on the couple being engaged.

Speaking of a possible engagement, a spokesperson for William Hill told The Independent: "Gambles such as these are often proved correct so we believe that the announcement is imminent – but for the gamble to win he still needs to win Wimbledon.

"We are still happy to offer 33/1 that Andy wins and gets down on one knee during his acceptance speech live on the BBC."

Whilst we'd love to see an engagement between Andy and Kim, the tennis star recently told the Times that he doesn't mind spending time apart from her.

He said: "She doesn't come to loads of tournaments as I also find being away from each other is good as well.

"If you spend three months in a row together, by the end of it we're like, you know, arguing and stuff."
