Harry, Is That You? One Direction Lookalikes Escorted Out Of Edinburgh Tour After Causing Chaos
Jun 6th 2014, 08:12

One Direction were probably wondering why no one was paying attention to them at their show in Edinburgh earlier this week, as two teenage fans were forced to leave the concert when members of the audience mistook them for the actual boy band, causing a huge frenzy.

The 'Best Song Ever' hitmakers brought their 'Where We Are' tour to the Murrayfield Stadium in the Scottish capital on Tuesday night, where they were watched by thousands of fans, but they were unaware that they had two doppelgangers in the audience.

According to the Mirror, Richard Dickinson and Liam Fergusson, both 17, impersonate Harry Styles and Niall Horan in a tribute band, and it seems they may be too good at their jobs as some fans actually believed they were the heartthrobs.

The boys probably weren't anticipating such a huge reaction though as it got so hectic that security eventually had to escort them out of the stadium to settle fans.

Harry's lookalike Dickinson, told the publication: "It was the craziest thing... When we got into Murrayfield (the stadium) we were completely surrounded.

"People were running from the seated areas to the barriers. People were grabbing on to me. It got pretty bad. The next thing I know this big security guard came and got us... We had to be escorted out the stadium. I was glad when it was all over."

Harry seems to be oblivious to the drama though as he tweeted after the show: "Edinburgh thank you for your help tonight.. You're the best. Thank you for having us and hopefully we'll see you again soon. Huge love .x."
