Kendall Jenner Says 'It Was A Dream' Featuring In Vogue Paris
Jun 1st 2014, 13:03

Kendall Jenner has admitted that she was overwhelmed when she was first offered the chance to feature in Vogue Paris, with the model confessing that the opportunity was "like a dream".

The 18-year-old features in the June/July issue of the renowned fashion magazine's French version, just a short while after her older sister Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West were on the cover of the publication's American edition before they were married last month.

The reality star told E! News: I get more and more comfortable with everything. It's fun though, it's the world I wanna be living in, so it's awesome."

And despite her high status in the celebrity world, the model insists she was completely taken aback when she was offered the job while appearing in Fashion Week earlier this year.

Kendall said: "I remember hearing about it and I freaked out and I was so excited. It's a dream. It's incredible. I feel like when something like that happens and you're in the moment, you don't know how to react. It's so surreal. And then it comes out and you see it and it's just a dream."

Despite appearing in Vogue's French edition, the young model also had nothing but nice words to say about Vogue's American editor Anna Wintour, who defended her decision to put Kim and Kanye on the cover after many moaned about the choice.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who was spotted sitting front row with the editor at a fashion show, said: "She's always been very kind to me. She's really awesome."

And despite the fashion world often being famed for its catty nature, it seems the compliments just keep on flowing as Katie Grand, who styled Kendall for her Vogue shoot, admits that she believes that the teenager has what it takes to make it in the fashion industry.

The stylist told Grazia magazine: "She has long elegant limbs, she's one of those giraffe phenomenas who walk in and look like they were drawn that way.

"It would have been easy for Kendall to go with a bigger agency and gone down a celebrity route but she wants to be taken seriously as a model just like the rest of them."
