Jamie Dornan has so far kept pretty quiet about his biggest role to date, leading Sam Taylor Johnson's big screen adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. In a new interview though the hunk opens up on how he transformed into Christian.
The Northern Irish actor has just wrapped shooting for the movie based on EL James' phenomenally successful novel. We have nearly a year to wait until the release of the movie, but Jamie has this weekend teased fans by explaining how it felt to play the lusted after Christian.
"I've played a lot of broken people", Jamie told Interview Magazine before agreeing that he has a history of playing characters with two sides following his past roles like that of Paul Spector in hit BBC drama The Fall. "That's true. Even Christian has two sides. Come to think of it, he has 50. I guess I'm gonna be using that line all over the planet in a few months. Shouldn't waste it", the actor quipped.

The interview also saw Jamie touch on that famous bod and surprisingly the ex Calvin Klein poster boy doesn't see what all the fuss is about: "I don't like my physique. Who does? I was a skinny guy growing up, and I still feel like that same skinny kid", he insisted.

As for that transformation into Grey, Jamie explained that a lot of the work was physical:
"I think there was so much more to Christian that we covered—someone who is careful to keep himself in shape, someone who spends obscene amounts of money on presenting himself. A lot of that work was done in the gym and with costume".
"We didn't talk about particulars of the way he would move", he added of conversations with his director. "But I'm quite awkward in a suit because I don't have an opportunity to wear a suit very often, and this is a guy who lives in a suit—the best suit. That has to have an effect. But when you end up in a suit for 80 percent of the filming process, you become pretty comfortable with it."
