His Movie Might Be A Flop But Ryan Gosling Still Looks Super Hot As He Heads To A Business Meeting
Jun 1st 2014, 11:53

Ryan Gosling hasn't had the best couple of weeks after his directorial debut Lost River failed to win over critics at the Cannes Film Festival. But back home in Los Angeles this weekend the star was at least looking his best as he stepped out for a meeting.

The actor turned director made the most of the sunny weather in his home town as he sported a white shirt, rolling up the sleeves to reveal those impressive biceps.

Leaving an office building in the city, the star gave his male companion a hug before heading off in his car.

Perhaps the meeting was to discuss Ryan's latest venture, Lost River, which proved to be a critical flop after debuting at Cannes this month. With the critics laying into Ryan's first foray into directing, the star told ITV that he was confident the public would make their own minds up.

"This is the great thing about movies, you get to decide whether you like them or not," he said. With no UK release date set yet, it may be a while before we get a chance to see the movie though.

Nicholas Winding Refn, who directed the critically acclaimed Drive which starred Ryan, has also been defending his friend's movie.

Speaking to New York Magazine, Nicholas said: "I think it's a beautiful, beautiful, great movie that will grow on people. There are images from it that still stick with me.

"Because we're twins we make the same movie. Separated at birth, we found each other. That's the thing about twins. We stick together."
