Laverne Cox has come in at No1 on the World Pride Power list, as revealed at a special ceremony yesterday (June 27).
The trans actress, whose profile has been raised dramatically by Orange Is The New Black, topped Tom Daley and Ellen DeGeneres in the rankings, which wil be revealed in full in The Guardian tomorrow (June 29).
She said in a video message: "I hope you can love eachother more regardless of who you are or how you identify."

DeGeneres came in second place, with Daley in third and Stephen Fry in fourth. Sir Ian McKellen rounds out of the Top 5.
The 'reveal' of the Top 10 comes on the day of London Pride, which will dominate the English capital today (June 27) with a 20,000-strong parade and huge parties taking place all over the city.
