It was the date that would change her life forever.
And Victoria Beckham gave her army of fans a cheap thrill by uploading an image of the dress she wore during her first romantic rendezvous with David onto the internet on Thursday.
The 40-year-old fashion designer was still a young Spice Girl and her future husband a fledgling soccer superstar when she wore the very '90s looking belted-orange mini dress, that certainly didn't live up to her 'Posh' nickname.

But the garment obviously still has a fond place in her heart, for she captioned the Instagram image: 'Look what I found! The dress I wore on my first date with David!! X so cute!'
Victoria was at the height of her fame as Posh Spice while David was just another top class player at Manchester United when they met at one of the club's charity matches in Greater Manchester in 1997.
Fast forward to today and the 39-year-old former England star is very much the senior partner in their relationship thanks to his status as a marketing icon, as well as due to a globetrotting spell that saw him play for Real Madrid, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and LA Galaxy.

Now: While they are a power couple David's global fame now eclipses that of former Spice Girl Victoria
He is also set to become the first ever player-owner in MLS history, as he is considering a on-field comeback for the club he is trying to establish in Miami.
However problems finding a venue in the city have led to speculation he may abandon the project for a new Los Angeles based team instead.
Victoria meanwhile has launched an alternative career as a fashion designer, has written two books and also took part in a thrilling reunion of the Spice Girls back in 2007 - 2008.
The happy couple also are parents to sons Brooklyn,15, Romeo, 11, Cruz , nine, and three-year-old daughter Harper.
