Like the rest of the UK, football WAG Coleen Rooney was devastated when the England team lost their match against Uruguay. However, despite feeling "gutted" the Liverpudlian was still keen to show her support for her husband Wayne Rooney and his first goal of the World Cup.
Coleen took to her Twitter account earlier in the week to tweet her excitement about the upcoming match, given that she had flown to Brazil with her two young children especially for the occasion.
She shared: "Excited for the game tomorrow!! #england".
Mrs Rooney even retweeted messages from fellow WAG Alex Gerrard and Pope Francais about the England vs. Uruguay game, but unfortunately her prayers went unanswered after England lost 2-1 to the South American team.

Once again, Col decided to share her thoughts on the game with her followers, as she wrote: "Gutted with the score, but so pleased @WayneRooney scored and his boys were here to see it!!"
She then retweeted a photo of the pitch accompanied by the message: "Gutted about the result but what an amazing atmosphere!"

Football fans thought there was no hope for England after the team failed to equalise Uruguay's first goal before half time. In fact, it wasn't until 75 minutes into the game that Wayne scored a goal, giving fans at home something to cling on to.
However, the dream was shattered nine minutes later, after Suarez scored his second goal of the match. England still have another match against Costa Rica coming up, but at the moment it does not look good.
