Sam Pepper has posted a five-minute monologue in which he explains that the highly controversial 'prank' videos in which he and a female friend pinched strangers' backsides were both staged pranks with actors.
The former Big Brother housemate claimed he was "so glad" to see the outpouring of rage from public and media alike when the first video hit the web, and again when Part 2 was stuck up online yesterday before being hastily removed by YouTube.
The new video sees him telling followers that he hoped to stir that reaction so that his second one would hit the mark and make people think about the specific genders; realising that harassment is harassment regardless of gender. He also claims to have a close friend who was abused by a female partner and said that he inspired the experiment.

"i want to say sorry to anyone that has felt stressed/upset by this campaign i was running. im glad the 3rd video is final out. thanks always (sic)," he tweeted. "people tweeting me "sorry" you don't have to be? that was the point, you stood up for something you believed in."
He added: "In hindsight we would all do things different in our lives, i could have executed this neater, but would have it as reached as many people?"
