Liam Hemsworth Insists There's 'No Bad Blood' Between Him And Ex Miley Cyrus, Gushes Over 'Bond' With Jennifer Lawrence
Sep 30th 2014, 16:33

Their break-up filled the gossip pages of 2013 for most of the year, but when asked about his split from fiancee Miley Cyrus, The Hunger Games hottie Liam Hemsworth insisted there wasn't much to say and that there was no "bad blood," between the pair, in an new interview with Nylon magazine.

Liam and Miley were already one of the most high profile romances in Hollywood even before rumours about an impending break-up started in February 2013. The speculation would just not go away and as Miley geared up for the release of her comeback album Bangerz, released last September, it seemed almost inevitable the couple were set to part ways.

The confirmation came that month and while Bangerz, Miley later admitted, was a break-up record about the failed relationship, Liam insisted there was no real drama to report about the split and that they're now friends.

"There's not much to say; there's no bad blood there," he said. He had more to say on the circus that surrounded the couple and admitted he never enjoyed the kind of attention the relationship brought.

"You never get used to it because you get followed and you get chased and it's never a fun experience. I think when people see photos of you out and about in your personal life, they assume that you've asked for it or that you want that attention, but I don't think anyone in their right mind asks for that kind of thing."

Aside from a brief fling with Mexican star Eiza Gonzalez, Liam's kept quiet on the romance rumour front. There is one relationship he's happy to speak about though and that's his friendships with the Hunger Games cast. The crew are getting ready to release the third film in the franchise, Mockingjay: Part 1 and after working together for so long, Liam admitted they're very much a family.

"I've been friends with all these people for so many years now. I'm so lucky to have Jennifer and Josh and Woody and all these other great people. We've created really strong bonds." he said,

"Woody's like a little kid. Me and Jen always call him a Labrador because you throw something and he'll fetch it. When he does turn it on, he's got the most intense, crazy look in his eyes. He's such a great actor, yet he can be so free and just have fun with the whole thing."

"It's like high school because we'll mess around for half the day and then we'll do a little bit of work," Liam joked, "Everyone's goofing around and trying to mess each other up."
