George Clooney got engaged to Amal Alamuddin earlier this year, and it seems like the actor has already managed to wow his mother-in-law, according to new reports.
The 53-year-old allegedly spent the weekend with Amal and her mother, Baria, with him taking the pair to his lavish Italian villa in Lake Como.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''They say the only thing more intimidating than a huge Hollywood film star is a mother-in-law, yet George showed no signs of nerves. Baria has the ability to put anyone at ease and she was equally at ease around George.
''She is not your typical mother-in-law and back in Lebanon she is a star in her own right. They all get along famously together.''

George and Amal are thought to be planning a September wedding, and another source added that the couple spent some of the weekend scouting possible venues. How exciting!
An insider told the Daily Express: ''Amal and her mum were smiling, it was going pretty great.
''Amal's mum left the next day and at the airport they all just looked so happy.''
One of the locations that the couple are thought to be considering is Villa D'Este, which they were seen arriving at via boat.
