With heavy downpours of rain predicted for much of this year's Glastonbury Festival, we were expecting to see ticket-holders trudging their way through mud and clinging onto each other in the wet weather, but on the absolute contrary, stunning photos have emerged from the first official day.
Before it gets flooded by the 135,000 people who are expected to flock to Somerset's Worthy Farm in the coming days, a group of locals were seen sitting on a hill admiring the gorgeous view of the sunset yesterday evening.
One man entertained the tiny crowd, playing his sax against the background of the sunset, making for a rather peaceful scene and simply beautiful images.
