-They might play prisoners by day, but by night the women from Orange Is The New Black are award winning actresses. The Litchfield ladies scored three trophies at the Critic's Choice Awards last night, including Best Comedy Series.
Yes, for once the women won't be charged with stealing even though they stole the show yesterday evening. OITNB was the biggest winner at the Critic's Choice Awards, after they snagged three of the highly coveted trophies.
The show itself won Best Comedy Series, while actresses Uuzo Aduba (who plays Crazy Eyes) and Kate Mulgrew (who plays the Red) won Best Guest Performer in a Comedy Series, and Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy respectively.

The hit Netflix show has amassed a huge following since its release last year, and it looks like it will continue to grow after the highly-anticipated second season launched earlier this month to rave reviews.
In her acceptance speech, Uzo thanked the show creator Jenji Kohan for "changing my life". She later took to her Instagram to share a quote from the late Maya Angelou which said: "Let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer."
She captioned the photo: "All I can say is thank you. #criticschoiceawards #teamorange"
