And it seems like even when Keith Urban's performing his beautiful wife Nicole Kidman is never far from his thoughts.
The Grammy award-winning 46-year-old country music crooner was on stage at Sydney's Olympic Park venue the Allphones Arena on Saturday night when he made a heartfelt speech about his Oscar winning actress wife and revealed an intimate part of the pair's shared history.

'I want to make a special dedication, about this time eight years ago we were about five days away from getting married,' said the sensitive singer who's known for his vocal adoration of his wife.
'A few days before that my fiancee and I were talking about the wedding and she was worried about getting married to me - understandably - I was trying everyway I could to reassure her that I was her man, I could feel it.
'The next day I happened to be with a friend of mine who was a songwriter and I was telling him what happened and he said we should write about that so I wrote this song for my wife and she's here tonight.'
He finished his loving ode to Nicole with one final message.
'In a world of so much darkness and toxicity and scary people, she is extraordinary, pure and a beautiful light and I love you with all my heart baby girl.'

Wearing an elegant black dress the ever stylish statuesque blonde had her hair tied back in a low chignon for the gig and added yet more height with a pair of killer Louboutin heels, perfect for dancing to her favourite Keith tracks.
The Grace of Monaco star looked particularly enthralled when her romantic man sang I Want To Kiss A Girl, perhaps the soundtrack to the smitten pair's long lasting love affair.
Nicole anecdotes peppered the country crooners performance on the second night of his Light The Fuse Australian tour, which he kicked off in Brisbane earlier in the week.

The trio looked to be having the time of their lives as they enjoyed a soulful rendition of Ain't Nobody Gonna Steal This Heart Away, which took the house down with Jimmy Barnes and Jessica Mauboy taking to the stage for a surprise performance alongside the legendary singer.
Later Joel Madden stormed the stage with a version of Oasis's famous Wonderwall.
The beloved actress had clearly brushed off her cold from the previous night which had caused her to enjoy a very low key 47th birthday celebration at home with the family.
