The Hollywood rumour mill just won't let the idea of a romance between Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson lie.
At the premiere after-party for the actor's new movie The Rover, 28-year old Robert's eyes 'lit up' when he saw Katy, 29, arrive and they spent much of the evening by each other's side.
'She looked gorgeous in a lace sequin black mini-dress, and they hugged and kissed,' an insider told RadarOnline. 'He kept kissing her the entire night.'

But both parties are still adamant that they are still friends who have been there for each other when suffering from individual heart break.
Rob was left in pieces after the public revelation that his long-term girlfriend and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart was having an affair with her Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
Katy was there to cheer him up and be a shoulder to cry on, as he had been when her marriage to comedian Russell Brand deteriorated and ended with divorce.
Since then, Perry has dated on and off John Mayer, Florence And The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, and Major Lazer's Diplo, while Pattinson has been linked to Riley Keough, Dylan Penn and Imogen Ker, who the Telegraph reports he is currently dating.

In the same interview, the British actor says that he now considers Los Angeles more of his home than London: 'I spent two months in England last year which is the longest I've spent there in six years, which was nice, but I always go back to England at Christmas time and get so depressed that I'm glad to get back to Los Angeles.'
'I've really grown to like L.A and I guess it's my home at the moment.'
With Robert and Katy both living in the City of Angels, they often spend time together and most recently were seen hanging out at the annual Coachella music festival.
Katy last year explained that he was more like a brother than a lover.
'Okay, so here's the proof there was never anything going on with me and Robert Pattinson … I fart in front of him', she told Elle magazine.
'Properly fart. And I never, ever fart in front of a man I am dating. That's a rule. He's my bud; I'm like his big sister. We just hang out.'
She added: 'The other day, I said, "One of the things I'm most proud of is not sleeping with you, Robert." And that's true.'
