From The Xtra Factor To Strictly Come Dancing? Could Caroline Flack Be In The Celeb Line Up?
Jun 20th 2014, 11:33

She's more well known for chatting to X Factor contestants, but soon we could see Caroline Flack twirling around the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom. That's if professional dancer Brendan Cole has anything to do with it.

The former Xtra Factor presenter has been named the favourite to join the BBC show by Strictly dancer Brendan. He even reckons Caroline could win the entire competition – high praise indeed!

Despite the ratings rivalry between ITV's X Factor and Strictly, when chatting to Digital Spy, Cole explained who he'd most like to poach from the singing show.

"Nicole Scherzinger has won Dancing with the Stars, so that would be a bit silly," Brendan shared, "[but] Caroline Flack, she'd be great, definitely. That would be amazing."

He doesn't rate the return of Simon Cowell or Cheryl Cole to the X Factor though, as he added that Strictly Come Dancing will still be "the biggest show on television."

Brenny has dreams of some big stars for the show's celebrity line up, with American actress Natalie Portman being his ideal partner.

He said: "I do think one day there will be somebody on there where you go, 'Oh my goodness, we never could have dreamed of them', somebody who we go, 'Wow, that's quite impressive'."

Hmm... Natalie might have excelled at ballet whilst filming the Black Swan, but we reckon she'd rather have her very handsome husband, Benjamin Millepied (who just happens to be Director of Dance at the Paris Opera Ballet) as her dance partner. Sorry Brendan!
