She raised eyebrows with her 'bullying' behaviour with her treatment of Chris Wright.
But Helen Wood made an effort to smooth things over on Sunday's Big Brother as she offered her housemate an apology.
Former prostitute Helen chatted to Chris in the dressing area of the house while she straightened her hair, explaining that the pair had got off to a bad start, with Helen misinterpreting his comments.
Making amends: Helen Wood tried to make up of her 'bullying' behaviour on Big Brother
She said: 'Last night, I was saying about false people and I just felt like…I'm probably just getting my back up here…I just thought, is he seriously taking the pi**? Is he trying to wind me up?
'I was saying I don't like false people and you were like, I love false people.'
Chris accepted her apology, saying: 'I'm grateful you have because I'm really bad at asking people if everything's alright…most people say, yeah, everything's fine.'
Heart-to-heart: Helen and Chris were able to laugh over their differences as they spent time together in the dressing room
Pampering: Helen gets down to the serious business of straightening her locks in the dressing room
Smoothing things over: The pair share a friendly hug after Helen apologises for making Chris feel uncomfortable
Sharing: Chris has been the victim of 'bullying' behaviour in the Big Brother house
Helen went on: 'The last thing I'd want you to do is feel uncomfortable…
She joked: 'I'd want you to feel uncomfortable if you're going to take the pi**…I'd *uc**ng hate you if you did that!'
Chris added that he hopes their friendship will improve as the show progresses. He said: 'In time, hopefully that will be clearer'.
Picking favourites: Pauline provoked controversy in the house over her choice of housemates (which included Danielle, Christopher and Steven) for a party in the Power Pad
Helen added: 'I do apologise for last night…for how I was then. I've been judgemental and I've been a goby cow because…no, I wasn't being a gobby cow…I was judgemental, which I can be and it's a fault…I don't want you feel that around me at all.'
After making up, Chris asked Helen for a hug and the pair embraced.
Yesterday, Helen and Tamara said they felt like Chris was 'disrupting a happy family' - despite him not actually doing anything.
Tamara said that she doesn't 'trust him as far as I can throw him', before the pair endorsed each others' negativity, vowing to join forces and 'stick together...one hundred per cent'.
Elsewhere in the house, Pauline provoked jealousy among the housemates over her choice of three guests - Helen, Mark and Danielle - to join her in the Power Pad for a delicious Power Lunch and their suitcases.
Christopher pondered if they were her favourites saying, 'One's got five grand, the other is through to the final, while we're down here sniffing onions, starving.'
Opening up: Toya admitted she was 'power hungry but fair' as she lamented Pauline's favouritism in the house
Opinionated: Toya is shaping up to be one of the strongest characters on the show
He said: 'she picked mark and Helen because they are her favourites...Why not give the rest of us a treat as well.'
In the diary room, Toya told Big Brother that she is 'power hungry but fair' and that Pauline having all the power is getting 'underneath my weave…how can you have a favourite in 24 hours?'
Pauline was later invited to choose four additional housemates to join her for a party, picking Christopher, Winston, Steven and Matthew.
Romance: Winston and Tamara upped their flirting, sharing a romantic hot-tub together
Hilarity: Tamara laughed as Winston asks her on a date in the Big Brother house
There was also romance brewing between Winston and Tamara, with the pair 'christening' the hot tub together.
Calling himself 'The Winstmiester', Winston asked Tamara when they were 'going on their date?'.
Tamara laughed and said: 'Oh god, The Winstmister… actually, I'm going to get in…if anyone comes in, they'll be like what are you two doing?'
Big Brother also set a task for the housemates to rate themselves on a number of topics from best to worst.
Party time: Power queen Pauline treated a select number of housemates to a party in the Power Pad
Treat: The housemates in the Power Pad got VIP treatment, while the rest of the house could only imagine what they were missing out on
Festive: Mark, Pauline and Helen get into the party spirit
Cheers: Christopher has a toast in the Power Pad
The duo watched from the Diary Room as the rest of the housemates completed the task. They had the challenge of correctly identifying the categories in which the Housemates were lining up from 'Most' to' Least'.
For 'most to least fake', Pauline and Christopher guessed correctly, with the housemates choosing Chis as most fake and Pauline as the least.
They also guessed correctly on 'manipulative', with Matthew picked as most manipulative and Ashleigh as the least.
For the category of 'obnoxious', Pauline and Christopher incorrectly guessed ruthless, with Matthew nominated as 'most' and Pauline as 'least'.
Kimberly was chosen as the most successful and Marlon as the least, while Pauline and Matthew correctly identified the category.
Snap judgements: The housemates were tasked with rating themselves on a variety of attributes in order of most to least
Comparisons: While the housemates hardly know each other they were asked to make character judgements
Marlon was the most 'arrogant', while Ashleigh was the least - a category Pauline and Matthew guessed was 'power hungry'.
The most and least judgemental were Danielle and Winston respectively, with the category guessed correctly.
The housemates successfully passed the task and were rewarded with ingredients for a tasty dinner that evening.
