Lengthy night shoots would undoubtedly be arduous.
But Amber Heard and James Franco appeared to be having a whale of a time in each other's company as they filmed scenes for their latest movie together, The Adderall Diaries, on Saturday evening.
The 28-year-old actress clung to her studly co-star and the pair of them giggled as they pretended to ride motorbikes on the New York City set.

Amber looked stunning as usual in white skinny jeans and a leather jacket, showing off her assets beautifully.
She wore her long brunette tresses down and had her pretty face framed by black rimmed eye glasses to match her co-star's.
James, 36, sported a leather motorcycle getup and an unshaven face as he and Amber donned black helmets to create the impression that they were riding through the night.

Actors must of course create good chemistry if they're going to be convincing, and Amber and James certainly seemed to be on top of this.
The duo engaged in animated conversation and intermittent bursts of laughter as they sat very close together on the motorbike.
The Palo Alto actor even placed a friendly hand on the Rum Diaries star's leg at one point while they were filming, demonstrating quite a close rapport.

The rights to Stephen Elliott's memoir The Adderall Diaries were acquired by Franco himself back in September 2010, so it's likely to be quite a special project for the actor/filmmaker.
The crime-thriller film was adapted and is being directed by Pamela Romanowsky.
It also stars Ed Harris, Cynthia Nixon and Christian Slater.

To get it made, Amber is having to spend time apart from her fiance Johnny Depp, who is away in Boston, Massacheusetts, filming the lead role in the biopic of notorious gangster James 'Whitey' Bulger.
Depp has been spotted visiting Heard on the set of the film several times.
He has been wearing her diamond engagement ring as it was too big for her.
