Lana Del Rey may have started some Twitter beef with Frances Bean Cobain this week, as well as confirming her split from her long-term boyfriend, but at least the singer has been getting some Twitter love from James Franco.
Poor Lana has had a tough few days but over the weekend James no doubt cheered her up when he tweeted the star many happy returns for her 28th birthday.
"HAPPY BDAY LANA DEL REY!! I'm OBSESSED with the RIDE video! @lanadelrey," wrote James.
The pick-me-up comes amid the news that Lana has split from her her boyfriend of three years, Barrie-James O'Neill.

The 'Summertime Sadness' hitmaker started dating the Scottish rocker in 2011, but has now confirmed the break up in an interview with Switzerland's 20 Minuten newspaper:
"We are currently not together. He is a wonderful person," she revealed.
"But there are some things with which he has to deal. I will not explain it in detail."
"This was hard on our relationship, I no longer felt free. We'll see how it goes," she added. Maybe Lana needs a night out with James?
