'Thank You God': Chris Brown Breaks Silence After 108 Days In Jail
Jun 2nd 2014, 11:45

Chris Brown is OUT of prison and he's already moving on with his life, taking to Twitter after 108 days incarcerated to thank God and his fans for their support. The singer was released from jail at midnight on Sunday, and just a few hours later took to the social networking site as a free man.

The star was sentenced to serve 131 days behind bars on May 9, after violating the terms of his 2009 parole for federal assault. The initial sentence was one year, but after considering time already served, in jail and rehab it was cut down to four months.

It seems the singer is pretty happy to get his freedom back and took to Twitter to let fans know he was back.

He wrote soon after his release: "Humbled and Blessed."

Before writing a few hours later: "Back to the Music and the Fans."

Adding: "Thank you GOD."

Chris' legal woes aren't behind him just yet, he still has to face misdemeanor assault charges in Washington D.C. following a scuffle last year, where he allegedly punched a man, outside of his tour bus.

His bodyguard was found guilty of the same offence in April, but Chris' trial cannot take place until his appeal has been heard.

The jail time has meant Brown's new album X has been delayed, but it looks like he's going to be concentrating on getting the record out, now he's a free man.
