It was recently reported that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin were planning on getting married on the set of Downtown Abbey, and sources have now said that wedding plans aside, the actor is also planning on buying a £3 million home, once owned by the show's producer. Quite a fan, eh George?
George and Amal's engagement was announced earlier this year, and the couple are looking for a new home, according to reports. However, being one of the hottest stars out there, obviously the Gravity actor is looking to buy the best of the best!
The house that he has been allegedly eyeing up, not only has an outdoor pool, but also formal gardens, a wine cellar and separate areas to have house staff, if required.

A source told The Mirror: "George wants to lay down some roots in England and be close to Amal's family and work."
"She loves rural areas, including Kent and Oxfordshire, so they're keen to find somewhere picturesque and with some privacy," the insider then added.
"It's isolated and not too grand and that's the brief they have given their agent."

Last month, the megastar flew into London with his bride-to-be for a romantic country break including an exclusive private tour of the Downton set. The visit was arranged by his The Monuments Men co-star and Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville, the Mail Online reported at the time.
Amal is also said to be a huge fan of the hit drama and after visiting the Highclere Castle where the series is filmed she now reportedly has her heart set on walking down the isle at the Berkshire estate.
The lovebirds are believed to be planning to wed this September, marking the one-year anniversary of the day they first met, with 120 lucky guests which is sure to give Kimye a run for their money in the 'wedding of the year' stakes, because who needs Florence when you can have Downton?
