Aladdin Cast Pays Moving Tribute to Robin Williams: Watch Now!
Aug 14th 2014, 11:35, by Hilton Hater

We've got another creative tribute to Robin Williams to share with readers.

Yesterday, we posted an awesome video of a sports anchor dropping 23 references to the late actor in a creative two-minute segment - and now we're excited to pass along the following footage.

It features James Monroe Iglehart - who won a Tony Award this year for his portrayal of Genie in Aladdin - leading the cast of this Broadway production (as well as the audience) in a rousing version of "Friend Like Me."

The role, of course, was originated on screen by Williams and this sing-along is the perfect way to honor one of the greatest entertainers in history. Watch and be moved by it now:

Williams tragically committed suicide on Monday, as his personal assistant found the star's body inside his Northern California body.

A coroner has confirmed that Williams used his belt to hang himself and died from asphyxia.

In the days since, actors and actresses from movies and television have released moving statements in memory of Williams, while America has engaged in a discussion about mental illness and how others who suffer from it can avoid this same sad fate as this Oscar winner.
