She's currently performing in her one-woman hit show, Some Girl I Used To Know and Denise Van Outen proudly belted out some of the key tracks at G-A-Y nightclub on Friday night.

The 40-year-old took to the stage surrounded by two muscly shirtless backing dancers, wearing a hot pink short jumpsuit which showed off her toned legs.

She gave herself some extra inches in a sky high pair of strappy metallic killer heels, but still managed to perform her dance moves regardless.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast, she said: 'You know what, I had a lot of funny stories from over the years that I wanted to use.

'But it is easier to have that mask and play a character... I can do more with it then, I can elaborate on personal experiences.

'There's definitely a lot of me in it, the emotional side of it, it's quite touching, as much as it's funny.'
