The latest edition of V Magazine includes Miley Cyrus nude, surrounded by stuffed animals.
But the cover photo of the publication's Rebel Issue, which hits newsstands on September 10, might be even more unusual.
It features the 21-year old Twerker in some kind of fuzzy bathing suit, one that seems to be incredibly ineffective because it prompts us to ask: Could this thing even get wet?!?
Miley Cyrus covers this issue of V... while wearing an unusual bathing suit. Can this thing even get wet?!?
Cyrus is also lying on a pile of pretend animals in this picture, while the cover promises to tell us "Why Miley Loves to Provoke."
But will she continue to provoke?!?
At last Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, Cyrus had a homeless man named Jesse Helt accept her trophy and give a speech that called attention to the topic of poverty in America.
She then explained that she "realized [her] power" as a celebrity, telling Ryan Seacrest that she plans to use her platform to make headlines for reasons more important than gyrating around on stage.
This doesn't mean that Miley can't ever dress in a provocative manner again, of course.
But it will be interesting to see whether she really does make an effort to change the conversation about her from what she's wearing (or not wearing) to what sort of good she's trying to do in the world.
As documented in the photo gallery above, meanwhile, Cyrus also posed for V in the spring of 2013.
She shows off a lot of her boobs and her buttocks for that pictorial.
