Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Finally Get Married In Private Ceremony...And Their Six Children All Played A Part
Aug 28th 2014, 12:57

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have FINALLY tied the knot in an intimate ceremony, held in France, it's now been confirmed.

The showbiz couple, who got engaged back in 2012, managed to keep the details top secret, up until now at least, with a spokesman for the pair eventually confirming the news to The Associated Press, earlier today.

The private ceremony took place on Saturday in Chateau Miraval and only the couple's closest family and friends were invited to the bash. Before the wedding took place, Brad and Ange are said to have obtained a marriage licence from a local California judge, who also conducted the ceremony in France.

The spokesperson confirmed that Angelina walked down the aisle with her eldest sons, Maddox and Pax, whilst Zahara and Vivienne both threw petals over the newlyweds, leaving Shiloh and Knox to serve as ring bearers.

Too cute! A huge congratulations to the happy couple.

Brad and Ange have been surrounded by source stories by around a year now, with the media speculating over when and where the ceremony would eventually take place. Insiders that may or may not have been correct the whole time, told The Sun back in April, that the couple would be getting married this summer and have only been putting it off up until now, because of work commitments.

Angelina previously confirmed that all of her children would play a huge part on the big day.

She told Good Morning America, back in May: "You know, I think the important thing is that whatever we do, it's that the kids do have a great time and we all - you know, take seriously the love, and the connection between all of us. But also just get silly and do something memorable."
