Chris Brown is making "significant strides," to say sober and stay out of trouble since leaving jail two months ago, a state hearing in Los Angeles heard on Wednesday.
The star was imprisoned in March after being ejected from a rehab facility, he'd been placed in by his probation judge. His probation was revoked in December following his October arrest in Washington D.C. for misdemeanour assault.
Since leaving prison though, he's been "working on personal growth" and "is taking responsibility for his behaviours" according to a letter from Brown's probation officer which was submitted to the court, CNN reported.

After the start of the year saw him struggling, Judge James Brandlin praised the star for the progress he's made. According to the probation report Chris has passed all drug tests since being freed from the Los Angeles County jail in June and now will only be required to take two random drug tests a week, rather than three.
While in rehab, Chris was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and a dependency on marijuana. if he stays out of trouble, Chris' probation period will end on January 23 2015. He still has another 600 hours of community service to complete though.
The probation stems from the 2009 assault of then girlfriend Rihanna, which he pleaded guilty to. The positive report comes as it's been rumoured he's actually got back in touch with his former girlfriend, who he's had an on/off relationship with since 2007.

In 2012 they rekindled their romance after a three year break, only for it to end again after just five months, in May 2013. Chris reportedly split from girlfriend Karrueche Tran, who he's previously praised for supporting him through his issues, last week.
He was then spotted backstage at Rihanna's joint Monster tour with Eminem sparking claims they may be getting back together.
Surely, they've learned their lesson by now? By all accounts the couple's fiery romance, wasn't a healthy one and with her love of a smoke, it seems Rihanna is one of the last people, Chris should be around.
Things are looking up for Breezy, his 'X' album should be released in September, after being pushed back a few months because of his jail time. Let's hope he can stay on this positive path.
