Spurned by a cheating David Lucado, whom she promptly dumped, the newly single Britney Spears is ready to mingle, she declared in her latest concert in Las Vegas.
"Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me," she reportedly said during her show. "But the best part of breaking up is going on first dates!"
"OMG, OMG, I need a hot guy. Where are the hot guys here tonight?"
Gotta hand it to the girl for making lemonade out of dating lemons!
Just last week, it was announced that Spears dumped her boyfriend of 18 months after her father, Jamie, acquired a video of David messing around on her.
"Ahhhh the single life!" Britney Tweeted of her new relationship status.
While she puts on a positive face, the separation has been difficult.
"Britney is heartbroken. She is in Vegas. She will get through it," a source told E! News once the news broke. "She's a strong girl and he was never right for her."
There's no doubt she made the right call, at least, and she knows it.
It certainly helps that the singer has close family always supporting her, too. Last night, she was back in L.A. to watch sister Jamie Lynn Spears perform.
"At my sisters show!," she Tweeted while smiling with her adorable family. "@jamielynnspears is playing the LA County Fair in Pomona tonight!"
She also looks unreal in a bikini. That can't hurt either.
