Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, And Jessie J Rise To Number One In The UK
Sep 28th 2014, 18:37, by Esi Mensah

Bang Bang has officially become the number one song in the UK. Although many reports began to speculate earlier in the week that the song would hit number one, now it has actually successfully done it.

The hit song by Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, and Jessie J nabs the top spot from Sigma and Paloma Faith's Changing.

Jessie J is clearly through the roof about the news as she quickly took to instagram to show her excitement and thank the other two ladies.

The trio have become number one (Instagram/Jessie J)

"Ladies we did it! THANK YOU for being so unbelievably amazing! For holding my hand on this part of my journey!" she wrote. "I love you both and am so happy for us to share this moment. Number one in the UK BABY!"

This will mark Nicki Minaj's first number one single in the UK. Ariana Grande has already had a taste at the number one spot with her hit song Problem, while Jessie J's last number one was Domino.

Bang Bang has already experienced major success as it already became the number one song on iTunes shortly after it's release.

Taylor Swift's Shake It Off is also gaining momentum as it rose two spots to number three.
