From big raise to big wedding?
The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons, who just signed a massive contract extension, reportedly proposed to his longtime boyfriend after 12 years together.
Parsons, 41, who plays brainiac Sheldon on the hit CBS sitcom, finally popped the question to art director Todd Spiewak, 37, according to reports!
Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco each went from earning $325,000 to an incredible $1 million per episode for the show's next three seasons.
His financial future secure, Parsons, who came out as gay in 2012, got a life-changing nudge from partner Spiewak, who had long wanted to get married.
"He told [Jim] he felt like they were just treading water in their relationship," a source said, and with Jim set to earn eight figures and then some, he made a move.
The actor, according to an insider, "finally told Todd, 'The thought of losing you is scarier than anything I can imagine,' and he asked Todd to marry him!"
Whether that's true or not remains to be seen, as the private Parsons isn't likely to confirm or deny any gossip items pertaining to his personal life.
We hope they're happy in any case. For a look at how far he and his co-stars have come, check out this gallery of The Big Bang Theory cast then and now!
After she was Bridget Hennessy on 8 Simple Rules, Kaley Cuoco did a stint as a witch-in-training on Charmed. Then she bought some boobs and moved in next to Leonard and Sheldon to set up residence as Penny on TBBT.
