An Apple store patron named Adam Catanzarite claims he is the victim of discrimination at the hands of a bigoted employee in Portland, Oregon.
And he has the paper trail to prove it.
Catanzarite posted a message on Facebook this week that includes a photo of the receipt he was given after a visit to an Apple location - and it lists his email address as ff@g.com."
"Being queer and having worked with queer youth, I know first-hand that this is an example of the type of homophobic beliefs and actions that lead young people to harm themselves," Catanzarite wrote.
"This type of action is NOT OKAY, especially from a company that prides itself on being LGBTQ inclusive and welcoming."
Amazingly/sadly, this isn't the first time an employee has written a slur on a receipt, as a group of transgender women were called "gay bitches" in a D.C. bar last year; conversely, a waitress was once called the N Word on a receipt.
Check out Catanzarite unfortunate bill below and then flip through other examples of receipts that tell a story far beyond how much money was paid...
An Apple customer was none too happy to find a gay slur printed on his receipt. Toward the top, you can see an employee has written the man's email address as f@g.com.
