If anything positive comes out of Robin Williams' death, perhaps it will be this:
Celebrities (and people in general) will be more open about their personal issues, more up front about internal battles that could lead to serious consequences.
In an interview with Glamour that went viral yesterday, for example, Girls star Zosia Mamet admitted to an eating disorder as a teenager that made her want to die.
She's healthy now, but she knows she'll never be completely over this dangerous "obsession."
But Mamet can at least find solace in the fact that she isn't alone. The following famous females have all struggled with issues of weight and self-esteem - and have all bravely come out the other side. We salute them.
Michelle Duggar battled an eating disorder in the past. We are glad she is now doing much better.
