Star Wars Episode 7 Is Returns To Filming As Harrison Ford Recovers From Broken Leg
Aug 29th 2014, 07:02

'Star Wars Episode VII' is officially back on track after filming was able to resume following Harrison Ford's return to set.

The Han Solo star famously broke his leg in a dramatic injury on set earlier this year with production completely shutting down for two weeks this month while the 72-year-old underwent surgery.

Thankfully the two week hiatus won't delay the December 18, 2015 release date for the Star Wars revival after the JJ Abrams picture got back to work yesterday.

The seventh film of the franchise sees the return of legendary characters Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia played by original cast mates Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher return to the series which follows on from 1983's 'Return of the Jedi'. Fan favourites Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C3-PO will also feature in the hotly anticipated blockbuster as well as the iconic Millenium Falcon.
