Zach Braff wants to be clear:
Yes, he's at the center of one of Hollywood's most beloved bromances.
But, no, he's never been involved in a certain rumored romance.
In a chat with Howard Stern today, Braff was asked if he has ever dated Taylor Swift, responding in the extreme negative and taking a swipe at the celebrity gossip rumor mill in the process.
"I've met Taylor a few times and she's a sweet girl...but that was all Internet bulls--t," the ex-Scrubs star said. "They [the tabloids] said I was dating her, I met her twice, she's a cool girl, but I was not dating her."
Braff's dating resume isn't shabby, of course.
The comedic actor has gotten it on with Bonnie Somerville and Mandy Moore, to name two hotties. But they're in the past and he doesn't want his future filled with any other celebrities.
"When you date another famous person that's when they really hound you," Braff explained." That's when the paparazzi are outside your house and that's when you can't ride your bike through Manhattan because they follow you."
Braff cited friend Harry Styles as an example of someone "can't walk two f--king feet or a crowd forms and paparazzi forms" and, although Styles is the "sweetest kid," Braff "I don't want that existence."
As for who has dated Taylor Swift? Well...
