Jenny opened up on The View about her son's problems...
Jenny McCarthy got personal on Monday's episode of The Wiew when she revealed a heartbreaking problem she is having with her autistic son, Evan. Jenny told her cast mates that 12-year-old Evan has been bullied at his summer camp, and, due to his autism, isn't able to pick up social cues and realize that the kids he thinks are his friends are actually making fun of him.
"My son's main goal is to make as many friends as possible," Jenny said. "They're laughing at him but he laughs too. I said, 'You have to find the kids that like you and are nice to you. Who do you sit next to in the cafeteria?' And he said, 'No one. I ask, and they say no.'

"It's so wonderful that he's not aware that kids are making fun of him," she added. "But at what point do I need to teach him that?"
Jenny, who will leave The View at the end of the current season, looked to her cast mates for advice on what to do. Her co-host Whoopi Goldberg suggested Jenny talk to the parents of the kids in the camp.
"The parents might not be aware," she told Jenny.
Jenny has long been outspoken about her son's autism and has authored a book on the subject.
"When Evan was diagnosed, I immediately went into warrior mode," she said in an interview with Beliefnet.com. "I cried and stuff, but I went into this, 'Okay, I can't deal with my emotions right now. I have to save my kid. I have to move forward.'"
Jenny married Evan's father, John Asher, in 1999 and had Evan two years later. The couple split in 2005 and Jenny is currently engaged to Donnie Wahlberg.
