With the exception of putting Adrienne Bailon on blast, Khloe Kardashian is having blast these days, partying in clubs, throwing parties and traveling the world with French Montana.
Appearances can be deceiving, however. According to sources close to her family, the famously tough reality star is not happy these days, and all of this is overcompensation.
"Khloe needs to be around friends at all times," an insider says.
The 30-year-old "just can't be alone right now."
Why? The normally confident sister is surrounding herself with people because she's "stressed out," adds the source. "She just doesn't want to deal with any of her problems."
She has no shortage of those, to be sure.
Last weekend on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the reality star expressed concern about her brother and "best friend" Robert's emotional issues.
"I just feel like he needs to be around the family," Kardashian said of her brother attempting to suppress his own depression with food, alcohol and drugs.

It's not just genuine concern for Rob, either.
Not to mention, she's still reeling from Lamar Odom's crack video, cheating with various women and doing everything else he could to torpedo their marriage.
"The way I was living is not a way to live!" Khloe said. "I kept in hiding every time there was something going on. I would have to lie, or conceal, or cover up, and I'm so over it!"
Is she? Or following that same pattern?
While French Montana has been a fun fling, Kardashian is trying too hard, friends say, and has increasingly been dealing with stress by hitting the bottle.
Here's hoping she can right the ship.
