Sam Smith is currently taking the world by storm, but despite his career continuing to go from strength to strength, the singer has said that he's now ready to give up after meeting Beyonce. Don't leave us just yet, Sam!
The singer got to cosy up to Queen Bey at this year's MTV VMAs and he's now opened up about the amazing meeting, gushing over the fact that she told him that his voice was "like butter." And he even said that it was the superstar herself that initiated the hangout!
The Money On My Mind crooner told The Mirror: "Beyoncé asked to meet me, so I went in and said 'Hi'. It was amazing, she took my breath away.
"She said my voice is like butter, so I am done for life now. I don't need to do anything else."
Sam got to rub shoulders with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry and even Miley Cyrus at his very first VMAs and it sounds like he's still in shock over the whole thing.
"It was a really odd experience," Smith said. "It felt like I was plucked out of secondary school and put into the VMAs. It was really random."

And the celeb hangouts don't end there, either! He also spoke about the time that he bumped into the one and only Jennifer Lopez at his gig at the Avalon Theatre in L.A: "It was crazy to meet J.Lo.
"She was leaning over the balcony watching me singing, which made me really nervous. I actually get more nervous if I can see faces in the audience.
"I did Wembley Stadium once and that wasn't scary at all as it was just a sea of people. But singing in a room of 20 is scary."
Despite his huge success overseas, Sam is going to be treating us lucky UK lot to a very special iTunes Festival performanced on the 9th September. We can't wait!
