Lorde has been teasing the release of her brand new single Yellow Flicker Beat, that's going to be in the upcoming Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 movie for weeks now, but the singer has FINALLY unveiled the full audio for the track.
Lorde took to Instagram last week to give us some final clues ahead of the track's release, revealing the artwork and title, before she then posted some lyrics from the song over the weekend. But, her teasers have finally come to an end, because she took to Twitter earlier today to post a link to the track, alongside the caption: "it's here: official audio for YELLOW FLICKER BEAT" She also shared on her Tumblr account: "It's my first offering from what I hope will be a soundtrack you love. It's my attempt at getting inside her head, Katniss'. I hope you like it."
The soundtrack for the Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 movie is out on November 18, before the movie is then released on November 21. Give it a listen below:
Lorde recently said after she was given the chance to work on such an amazing movie: "Curating the soundtrack for such a hotly-anticipated film was a challenge, but I jumped at the chance. The cast and story are an inspiration for all musicians participating and, as someone with cinematic leanings, being privy to a different creative process has been a unique experience. I think the soundtrack is definitely going to surprise people." We can't wait!
